Since the car isn't even on the roads yet, it's all speculation, but I'm curious, do you think the Slate's design would handle a sunroof well? Any guesses on what options might even exist down the line, or whether this is something only custom shops will tackle?
Lets start a discussion

I've been following the concept art and some of the pre-production info a bit, and I don't think they've confirmed it as a factory option yet. Though I'd guess if they do offer one, it would likely be a smaller, traditional type to maintain the roof's structural integrity. But what's cool with their modular approach is that it opens up a ton of possibilities for customization beyond just the factory options!! I think a custom shop could definitely install a high-quality sunroof down the line. Their blank slate concept is designed to encourage that kind of personalization, so I think we'll see a lot of third-party mods for this car.

The Slate's roof looks pretty standard, so a sunroof should work fine. Most car companies have those big sunroofs as options now, so it probably comes down to what people want and how they market it. You could get it done at a custom shop, but getting it from the factory would look better and keep your warranty safe.
