I'm hoping someone can help me out. I placed a reservation with an out-of-state dealer a while back, and I'm trying to find my reservation number. I could swear it was visible right after I confirmed, but now when I check the dealer's site, it's just a blank space where the number should be. My name is also missing from that spot. I even checked my confirmation email, and it's the same situation there, no reservation number or my name! Has anyone experienced this before, or does anyone know how I can retrieve my reservation number when it's not showing up? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

That happened to me once. What I did was to call the dealer directly. They found it in their system in like two minutes. Sometimes it's better to ask right away from them. No response then head on here or something. Asking is free after all and it might be faster to call than waiting on email support.

It seems Slate has some reservation issues going on.. but I agree with @Lots O Bear that calling the dealership directly would be the fastest way to figure this out. Provide them with the email address you used for the reservation and any other details you can remember, like the date you placed it. That should allow them to look it up on their end and give you the number. Hope you can get it sorted out!

I encountered the same issue. I was freaking out when I saw the blank space too and thought I'd lose my reservation!! I called the dealer directly and found out it was just a glitch on their website. They were also able to pull up my reservation immediately just by my name and email address. Calling them is really the most reliable and quickest way to find out what the issue is. Ask to speak to a salesperson or manager who handles new orders and explain the situation. It's a huge relief once you get them on the phone. Don't worry, you'll get it sorted out!

Glad it worked out for you! Did they mention if the missing reservation number affects anything like delivery timing or order tracking?

Don't waste time chasing the website. Go straight to the dealer's sales manager with your payment/transaction record and make them sort it out. If they can't show proof of your reservation, get your deposit back and shop somewhere else.

If you put down a deposit, that transaction ID from your bank statement can help the dealer find your reservation fast.

You can also contact the general manager or customer service head. They can check your reservation in their system. To keep your place, have them double-check your reservation time while they sort it out.

Call the dealer directly, they should be able to pull up your reservation with your name and contact info even if the number isn't showing online
