slate ev truck teaser looks bronco-ish

So the buzz is that Slate is aiming to drop a $25,000 electric truck, and honestly I'm torn between thinking this is the best news of the year and "yeah, I'll believe it when I see it." With car prices climbing into absurd territory... especially EVs... it feels wild to even hear that number attached to a new truck. Supposedly Bezos and crew are backing this thing, and the teaser shows a boxy body with round headlights that kind of give it a Bronco vibe. If they can actually deliver something functional with decent range at that price, it could flip the whole market on its head. But EV companies promise the moon all the time. Anyone else think Slate really has a shot, or are we looking at another hype cycle?

I get what you're saying and I've been watching Slate since they first teased it last year. I like the simple design, manual windows, steel wheels, stuff like that. If they keep it easy to fix and upgrade, it might really work. But I'm waiting to see one out in the wild before I get too excited.
