Breaking promises

These makers always seem to be overpromise then just break it, just look at the Ford Maverick or the Cybertruck. I wouldn't be surprised if Slate announces a delay in mid-2026, pushing launch to 2027 or even later. If they stick to their timeline, good. If not, it's just more of the same.

I don't know of Slate specifically breaking any promises, but if you've got evidence of the contrary, I'm happy to see it. We hope for the best, prep for the worst, but at the end of the day, it's a car, what does it matter? It comes out or doesn't, the world will keep on spinning.

Fair point... and yeah, get that mindset. I dont have hard proof Slate broke promises, just heard some murmurs in the forums that got me curious. I'm mostly wondering if the hype is overblown or if theres something concrete behind it. When you say "prep for the worst," are you expecting delays, quality issues or is theree something else?
