Battery pack choices on the Slate truck

Two options, standard and extended and it all seems clear-cut on paper, but the reality can be quite different. Let’s discuss the real-world range, how long it takes to charge, battery degradation, and which pack is the most sensible choice for your day-to-day driving.

Been crunching the numbers non-stop but real life always throws a wrench in the works. I think for my daily drives the smaller battery should do the trick, unless winter hits hard and affects the range. I’m really interested in what early users will actually be experiencing

From my previous experience with an EV, I've realized that the rated range is often just a guideline. I’m leaning towards the bigger battery to cut down on charging stops.
