After spending some time with my P2, e-208, and a few classic cars, it quickly becomes clear what features are missing.
What’s that one thing you wish every car came with no fancy trim levels, no extra costs just a standard feature for everyone?
After switching back and forth between my old clunker and a sleek EV, there's one feature I absolutely can't live without heated seats. They're inexpensive to add, a total game-changer during winter, and honestly, no one should have to shell out extra just to stay cozy on their drive.
Moving between vintage cars and my EV has made me realize how much I crave those good old-fashioned physical buttons. Sure, touchscreens are fancy, but I’d take knobs for climate control and volume any day. They’re straightforward, dependable, and way less frustrating when the road gets bumpy.
I always think that every car (no matter the trim) needs blind spot monitoring. we’ve moved toward thicker pillars for better crash safety, but it’s created massive blind spots that some classic cars just didn't have.
It shouldn't be a premium safety package, it should be as standard as a seatbelt in 2026
Completely agree, heated seats, actual buttons and blind-spot monitoring are definitely essentials these days. Comfort, ease of use, and safety shouldn’t be seen as luxury options, they should be the norm.
