First batch fit & finish expectations

When a new model hits the market the burning question is always about the fit and finish right from the start. Those early builds can be a bit of a mixed bag sometimes everything aligns perfectly while other times you might spot a few quirks that get ironed out as time goes on.

So, what are your thoughts on Slate’s first batch? Do you think they’ll get the fit and finish just right or do you see some areas that could use a little tweaking?

I saw one of the first Slate trucks at a show. It seemed pretty good, but some of the inside bits felt a bit cheap.

From my time working when new gear came out, the first version always has some problems. I checked out one of Slate’s first trucks and it mainly was nice, but the interior could be better. I bet they will fix it once they produce more of them, but it is still nice for the first try.
