Are you hosting or hitting the road this year? I remember one Thanksgiving when I found myself caught in a whirlwind of airport madness missing my connecting flight and living off a measly sandwich. Since then I’ve been weighing the pros and cons of hosting versus traveling very carefully. What about you?

I’m the one hosting this year! After that grueling road trip where we were stuck in traffic for what felt like forever I figured it’s way less stressful to just stay put.

I totally get that! There was a year when I found myself stuck on the highway for half the day due to a snowstorm and I ended up munching on gas-station turkey jerky for Thanksgiving. Ever since then I’ve taken charge of hosting it’s a bit of a whirlwind but at least I know I’ll have a proper meal.
