how easy is it to strip this thing down

maybe I missed it, but has there been any word on how Slate like "the reconfiguration is going to be?

I’m curious if we can pop the roof and doors off in a few minutes when the weather is nice. Has anyone heard rumors about a soft top option, or is this going to be a major project every time you want to go open air?

I’ve been sifting through the specs and interviews, and it seems like the reconfiguration isn’t about doing a full teardown.
I really hope the roof and doors use a quick-release system because who wants to spend half a day just to enjoy some nice weather?

From what I’ve noticed, Slate hasn’t shared much in terms of details. If removing the roof turns into a whole toolbox-and-Torx affair, that would be disappointing. A straightforward soft-top option would make a lot more sense for everyday use.

Haven’t come across anything solid yet, but early clues suggest it’s designed to be semi-modular, not as complicated as a Jeep. Here’s hoping it’s more like just a few latches and you’re done rather than needing to carve out your whole afternoon for it.
