How you expect torque to feel

Envision how torque is meant to feel.
You ease onto the throttle with a load on the hitch, anticipating that smooth, steady pull rather than a jolt.
For Slate Auto powertrains, what kind of torque delivery do you think is ideal for construction or hauling?
Share your thoughts on what you expect and what you’d rely on day after day

Once had a rough experience towing a trailer because the throttle was way too jumpy. For Slate, I’m looking for slow, steady torque ramps no sudden surges or drama. Just a consistent pull that feels like it’s working alongside you, not trying to show off.

Once towed with a twitchy EV and absolutely hated it. For Slate, I want torque that comes on like a winch smooth, strong, and delightfully boring in the best way. Predictable power always beats flashy launches when you’re hauling something heavy.

After years of dealing with jerky diesel trucks, I’m all in for some smooth electric power.
Slate should deliver torque in nice, clean layers, not all at once.
I want controllable strength that I can manage under load without putting too much stress on the drivetrain or my nerves.
