Sometimes, I find myself daydreaming about my first Slate Auto delivery, especially when I need a break from screens. When you finally take a moment to unplug, which board game or puzzle do you reach for to kick back, challenge your mind, and maybe even spark a little friendly competition?

Every Sunday night, my family and I dive into a game of Catan. It started off as a fun way to unwind, but now it's super competitive. My son keeps trash talking me since he's gotten really good. It's way better than mindlessly scrolling through social media, and it definitely keeps us all engaged and arguing.

Once a month, I get together with the guys for poker night. We keep the stakes low and the trash talk high. It’s our tradition, and it’s the only time we all actually put our phones away. Cards, chips, and cold drinks the perfect combo.

I've always been a chess nerd.
I have this nice wooden board that I keep set up in the living room.
Sometimes, when it's quiet, I play against myself, which might sound odd, but I find it really relaxing.

For me, it's all about jigsaw puzzles. I know it might sound boring, but there's something really satisfying about zoning out with a thousand-piece puzzle and a beer after work. My wife thinks I'm a bit nuts, but it clears my mind better than anything else. Right now, I'm working on a vintage truck scene.
