Over 100K reservations for new budget EV pickup

I just saw this article where Jeff Bezos revealed that Slate Auto has already pulled in over 150,000 reservations for its new low-cost electric pickup less than three weeks after unveiling it in LA. The price is set to be under $20K after the $7,500 tax credit, and they're planning to build it at a repurposed printing plant in Indiana. After all it's just a refundable reservation fee of $50 so I might even want to reserve one myself.

$50 refundable isnt bad at all , honestly. Under $20k for an EV pickup is crazy cheap, might be worth locking one in just in case it actually delivers.
