Slate account verification problem

My husband's having a weird login problem with his Slate account. He reserved one for $50 and made an account with his Outlook email during checkout.
Now, when he tries to log in, the verification codes take like 30 minutes to arrive. He even made a new account with Gmail just fine, but his reservation is stuck on the original Outlook email. Has anyone else seen this super delayed verification code issue?

You're not the first one I heard who encountered a delayed verification code issue.. The guy I know also used his Outlook email for his Slate account. I think he contacted Slate's support directly but I have no idea if that solved his problem. Maybe you can do that too and ask them to transfer your reservation to your GMail account?

Outlook can sometimes be slow with verification emails due to server lag or spam filters. he can try to clear cache first. Has he checked his junk folder or tried adding Slate's email to his safe sender list?
