Slate power window kit wiring

I asked Slate if their power window add on kit includes a cross vehicle wiring harness for driver side control or if the vehicle comes pre wired

Slate confirmed they are still finalizing details and aren't yet certain if the factory harness will support the upgrade or if a manual wiring installation is required. they are currently checking with their engineering team for a definitive answer

I've been following Slate's updates closely and this kind of detail is tricky to manage before production starts. I’d be ready for some wiring work, but it's good to see they're consulting with engineering before we get a prototype

I'm in the same situation. It’s understandable that they’re uncertain, harness compatibility can't be tested until the vehicle is ready. I’m hoping for a straightforward factory solution, but I wouldn't be surprised if the initial installs require a bit of DIY.

You know, I'm thinking the same thing about fog lights. I guess, running the wires will be the hardest part

It's normal to feel a bit unsure at this stage and a bit of do-it-yourself might be necessary at first. Fingers crossed that Slate finds a smooth, ready-to-go solution soon.
