Storing a spare tire

I drive a 2025 Slate TrailSport and I'm trying to find a better way to carry a full-size spare tire. I don't want to hang it on the back, I feel like it could get damaged in a small crash. I wish Slate had a spot under the back seat or a box near the front of the bed to keep the spare safe and out of the way.

Anyone here found a good way to store a spare without drilling or using a rear mount? I'd be happy to learn more about your ideas!

Yeah I've seen folks solve this with bed-mounted racks, under-bed swing brackets, or even custom boxes up front, it keeps the spare protected without a rear mount or drilling into the frame
