What’s the first real job you have in mind for your Slate truck?

I can’t stop daydreaming about delivery day, just imagining the keys in my hand and my excitement bubbling over. If you’re set to take delivery in late 2026, what’s the very first task you’re planning to tackle with your Slate truck?

Already gotten through the first weekend in my head.
When it finally arrives, I'm sure I'll end up hauling something I don't really need, just because I can.
Maybe I'll take a trip to the hardware store and then stand there admiring it like a proud fool.

Since I've waited this long, my initial task will be something straightforward and meaningful like taking a trip to the dump or grabbing some lumber. It's not urgent, but it’ll finally hit me that I’m really using the truck for something.

Honestly, I’ll probably spend the first hour just fiddling with everything and getting it all set up. Then, I can see myself taking it for a pointless spin, windows down and a big grin on my face, before I remember that I promised I’d actually put it to work.

I’ve been daydreaming about it nonstop. After years of using my cousin’s old truck, my Slate’s first job is to haul all those projects I’ve been putting off since 2019.
