What insights from other EV owners are you thinking of using when your Slate arrives?

I’ve been diving into a ton of tips, tricks, and even some blunders shared by fellow EV enthusiasts, and it’s really got me pondering what I’ll actually put into practice once my Slate is here. What advice are you planning to take with you?

I'm all about that slow charge when possible tip. A friend said it helps keep the battery in good shape for longer, and it's something I always remember.

Something I plan to do is preheat before driving in cold weather. I didn't do that with my old electric car, and the range was not good. I will do it right this time.

The best suggestion I got was from a guy who kept track of every charge for a year. He said that the biggest improvements in how long the battery lasts and how well it works came from keeping it between 20–80%. I didn't care at first, but after seeing how constant his results were, I'm going to do that once my Slate gets here.
