I've been thinking about getting an electric pickup to help out around the farm, but I'm concerned about the range. If it could get me through a whole day of moving feed and gear without needing a charge, I’d be ready to switch in a heartbeat. I love the technology; I just need it to be practical.

Honestly, it's the quietness that gets me. I’ve driven diesel trucks for years, and while there's definitely a thrill from the torque, the thought of a vehicle with no engine noise and instant power is really appealing. That said, I want to see a good charging network in rural areas before I commit.

I'm really interested in an electric vehicle for all the gadgets things like autopilot and remote diagnostics, all that futuristic tech. But if the battery can't keep up with a full day of hauling hay and tools, I’ll stick to diesel. I’m definitely excited about the tech, but reliability is what I value most.
