Kinda crazy that the Slate doesn't already have an AUX switch setup or hot 12V bus bar. If Ford can throw one in a Bronco and GM did it decades ago with police/taxi packages, why are we in 2025 still stuck tapping fuses like it's the 90s?
Fleet operators especially are going to want dashcams, comms, and lights without tearing into factory wiring. The fact that we might be forced to use fuse taps on a brand-new truck feels lazy on Slate's part. So what's the actual deal here... do we think Slate will eventually add AUX switches in future trims, or are we just stuck DIY'ing a power distro block under the dash?
