Concerns about Slate as a new brand?

Slate isn't the first new brand on the market, and like with all things new, it's normal to be cautious, but what are you cautious about?

Got burned before with a new brand where getting parts was a nightmare. With Slate, I'd be worried about finding parts.

I once threw money at equipment from a startup that went bust in two years. We were left hanging, trying to find support. Now I'm super careful. Slate needs to be rock solid for the long haul. If they don't have cash and a simple way to get service, even if the build seem good, they won't last.
