Flat towing

I'm reading some speculations about the Slate coming with a flat towing feature when released. First question is how would that even work? As far as I know EVs can be flat towed. Second, any specific info from Slate on this or it's still just rumors.

Well, I'm no EV expert, but as far as I know flat towing an EV is impossible due to how the electric motors work, unlike a vehicle with a transmission, even an automatic one. Honestly, haven't ready anything related to this, but it would be super cool if they manage to pull it off.
