Is slate releasing updates?

I'd like to see, and think it would help keep people's interest on it: some kind of regular updates, even if it's little stuff, coming from slate. If all there is is random articles we may or may not see, even those of us who have put $50 in may end up mostly forgetting about it in the next year and a half, some may buy something else in the meantime.
That's one issue other startups have had, where even most people who reserve don't end up buying.

From what I can tell, the official site has nothing new in the past month.

There was an article I saw a few days ago that looked at the undercarriage, and looked at the tailgate without the plastic shell for example, but I can't find it now.

I completely agree,it'd make a big difference if we got some regular updates to keep folks engaged. Waiting a year and a half with no news feels pretty long. Have you come across any official updates recently? I haven't noticed much on their website either.

I'd love some monthly newsletter for people with a reservation that talks about shows they've been appearing at, locations, things like that. Video games will have a Community Manager, Slate would do well to follow suit. People are interested in this truck for a variety of reasons, so, draw us into the culture so we'll feel more ownership and buy-in. We'll give free advertising, build up hype and will be loyal. They just need to engage.

I'm definitely not in the target demo for trucks or EVs but I'm here, and I think there are a lot of people like me. People who will be a part of connecting with the culture and who want to connect with like minded individuals. Slate has the opportunity to do something interesting, they've just got to seize it.

Edit: I will totally work as Community Manager for Slate if anyone from there is watching, lol. Y'all will just have to foot production costs.
