Ripping out my stock car stereo

I ripped out the stock stereo from my car, this janky, no bluetooth-having, CD still stuck inside, faux metal trimmed unit that's been mocking me since I bought the car used three years ago, I swapped it for a slick little aftermarket single DIN head unit that actually lets me stream music without an aux cord hanging out like a tail, the upgrade was long overdue, but somehow felt weirdly personal, although I had to wrestle with the dash, decipher the wiring like it was a cold war cipher, and splice it all together like I was building a bomb that played Spotify.
