EV truck payload what can it really haul?

So, you've probably been checking out the specs, reading reviews, or even taking an EV truck for a spin. I've noticed the numbers don't always line up with what happens in real life. We all want to know what these trucks can actually carry without messing up how they drive.

What do you guys think is a realistic payload for an EV truck? Do the advertised numbers seem right, or do you have your own way of figuring it out?

Borrowed an EV truck to do a weekend project. The truck said it could haul a lot, but with lumber and tools in tow, the battery died faster than I thought it would. Was still doable, but I'd bet the payload in real life is a little less than what they advertise.

Used to haul stuff for the shop, and EV trucks were okay until you loaded them up. Specs look good, sure, but I trust what my eyes tell me out on the road.

Took one for a spin on a supply run the payload they said it could handle? Yeah, not so much when the bed's packed.

When I gave an EV truck a go for moving stuff, I liked how smooth it was until I packed the bed full. Then, the handling went south, and the battery drained quicker than the manual said. After that, I test the payload myself so I know what it can really do instead of trusting the truck's sheet.
