Regenerative braking on icy downhills how effective is it really?

If you've ever found yourself navigating a slippery slope, you might have wondered just how much regen braking can help, or if it might actually throw your tires off balance. Perhaps you've given it a shot yourself, or maybe you're just curious about the whole thing. Feel free to share your experiences with regen braking on those slick descents!

When I first got my e-bike, I tried regen on a muddy hill. It really made slowing down easier. Just gotta be smooth.

I used regen on some icy hills in Nevada to see what would happen. It was fine as long as I kept my balance. If I grabbed too much too fast, things got weird fast.

Ever since I moved from gas to electric bikes, I've been messing with regen on slippery slopes. In the mines, there was a lot of wet, slick ground. So, I got used to feeling for grip instead of just slamming on the brakes. Regen is helpful, but only if you take it easy and let the tires grip before adding more. Just be gentle
